Besides having access to authentic materials to apply the vocabulary and grammar studied in class, we also have access to an array of resources that allow us to build connections between Spanish and other disciplines, as well as to make language learning more relevant.
Khan Academy launched its Spanish version in September 2013. Although their primary goal was to make their resources accesible to Spanish speakers, as a byside product, they have provided learners of Spanish with a great resource to both, improve their Spanish and build or strengthen interdisciplinary connections.
Educatina is an Argentian website that offers a collection of videos for secondary students. Although the videos are not necessarily visually appealing, they can be used to reinforce material learned in class, as well as to expose you to ther Spanish dialects.
Areaciencias has a collection of resources for, well, science. Even though it has advertisements, it is a good site to expose yourself to content vocabulary, and enhance reading.
Recursos Pizarra is a website where you can find a variety of resources for elementary and secondary education.
If you know any other websites that would help you build between Spanish class and other areas, please share them in a comment.
