Un Viaje a España

You have been studying Spanish for almost two years. You think it is only fair to have a school trip to Spain and use what you have learned. Unfortunately, your Spanish teacher does not agree with you. You need to persuade her to take your class to Spain. Gather all the information you need (please see the specifics below), plan the perfect trip to Spain, and present your proposal to your teacher and classmates.

The facts:

You will be planning a nine-day trip to Spain, starting and ending in Kuwait.
You will be leaving 06/12 and coming back 06/21.
You must create a complete and detailed itinerary of your trip, which will feature visuals and illustrations of where to stay and what to do there.
You will also be making a complete accounting of costs involved.
To conclude this project, you will present your trip proposal to the class.
The Process:
Here are the steps you need to follow to complete your project:
1.) You need to decide which city you are flying to, which airline you will use, and choose your flights. Obviously you will need to get round trip prices.
2.) Choose the cities you want to visit, a minimum of three. You must travel between cities by train, but you may go by ship to one place, if necessary. The cities you will visit may change as you make your plans and discover the constraints of travel time! Remember, you are planning a real trip down to the last detail! You only have seven days and six nights!
3.) As you are working on your travel details, you will also need to decide where you will stay, what you will do, what sites you will see, and what transportation you will use to get around in each city. Include images of attractions by city and include prices, if you can find them.
4.) As you go, you need to make an accounting of your expenses on a separate document. Remember that if your trip is affordable, you are more likely to persuade people to participate.
6.) Are you ready to go? For your presentation you must use Power Point, as well as a travel brochure. If you have a different idea for your presentation, you must talk with me about it to get prior approval.
7.) Do not forget that in your presentation you must include the airport or station names, departure and arrival times, the time it takes to travel, and prices. You also need to make a reference list of sites you used to create your trip itinerary.
Note:
· You must use Spanish to interact with your classmates while you work on this project. You will need to compare prices and services, reach agreements/compromise with your team members.
· Fifty percent of your grade will be assigned to the work completed in class, twenty five percent for the oral presentation and the remaining twenty five percent for the brochure, Power Point and documents.
· Grades will be assigned individually, based on each team’s member performance and attitude.
¡Buena suerte!, y ¡Buen Viaje!
