La Feria de San Fermin

During this festival there are several events, but perhaps the most famous and popular one is "The Running of the Bulls". Rather than explaining what this is about, I invite you to watch the following video. Then, use the voting options in the poll question to let me know whether or not you would like to participate in this festival. Also, share any comments or feelings you have about this event.

Wow! The Bull Run is so intensely dangerous! How can those people be so brave to run with such hot-tempered animals? The horns on the bulls' heads look really sharp. If they were to attack someone with the horns and stick them into someone's flesh, it would be game over for them. No wonder so many people get injured and die from this event. But of course, there is also the excitement and adreneline people experience when participating in the Bull Run. If it was me, I would never be brave enough to run beside the bulls; only brave enough to watch it from far away. Very, very far away.

  2. I would love to attend Pamplona. I was in Madrid, Spain this year but I didn't have the chance to do so. Too bad I'm not a man, I'm not permitted to run with them. :( It amuses me very much. It seems short but very fun. I think it is more enjoyable than the Bull Fight because you know what's going to happen while in this you don't know if people will get hurt or not. Anyways, I really like it and it's a wonderful culture and celebration

I was never exposed to this event before nor had I quite understood what it was. But, after this video, I'm quite certain that it's something I would NEVER participate in nor would I even attend. I mean, just LOOK at the bulls and how seriously dangerous it would be if a person was trampled over by one of them. As I re-watched the video, I counted AT LEAST 16 people who fell and barely missed being crushed by the bulls. Entertainment should not be at the expense of someone's life. Unbelievable!

  4. I agree a little bit. It did look very dangerous but it also looked kind of fun. I think it would have been very cool to be there every year and witness the running of the bulls. i wouldn't want to be down at all; some of the bulls crashed into the wall and they could have easily crashed into anyone in the audience. I would actually like to be in my house somewhere on the top watching the running of the bulls from there. It really looked like a lot of fin and I think it is a great tradition.

  5. I've never seen this kind of big festival. I see some people just got speared by bull's horn. Its huge and sharp ........ It looks kind of fun to people and to bulls too. I hope there weren't a lot of casualities in this festival. One day, I would like to join the festival and enjoy with bulls !!!

The Bull Run looks interesting and fun! However, I think it is too dangerous to participate. People get injuries or even die during the game so I think the participatants are very brave. But just simply watch the running bulls would be very fun.

I would so do that, it seems vary vary dangerous but encredably exiting, it would be an awsome story to tell people. even though the bulls have horns, and even though they would naturaly attack me becouse of my amazing red hair, it would be a really cool story to tell people, what is the point of eneything if you cant tell people about it later.

This Bull Run tradition is an extremely dangerous thing. the plethora of people going through it are great risk takers. just by looking at its rage and horns you can surely tell that this is no happy animal. The adrenaline rush and excitement sure is not worth the risk! If i were to be given the choice i would surely enjoy watching from a distance. probably on top of a building looking down upon it! I mean its probably horror for most people, but it gives a sense of excitement that i just cannot deny!

  10. The Bulls are running very fast. I think that the bulls a very dangerous but I think it is still going to interesting to run with the bull and it would be very fun to. I could see many people who slip will just be stomped by the bulls and die. I think it is a very interesting traditional event that is very important in Spain. I think this event truly shows to the people that Spainish people really likes bulls

Very nice! It looks pretty fun when I watch it from here, on my screen where nothing can happen to me. I bet it is a lovely experience to participate in the Bull Runs every year, and the adrenaline ... it has to be huge when you hear like 8 bulls running at your back and watching people in front of you so you don't trip and get run over by the bulls. I would love to participate in this event, even though it is life risking. Maybe now I think it is not that dangerous, but even before the start I would probably run away immediately and not take the risk.
